- 8 dozen cleaned debearded and cleaned mussels shopping list
- 5 cloves of garlic peeled and crushed shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon italian crushed dry hot redpeppers shopping list
- 2 cups white wine shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 4-5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 1 cup plus 1/4 up finely chopped flatleaf parsley shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse grind black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- in large cooking pot, put wine garlic and dry redpeppers, bring to simmer. add mussels and cook uncovered till they start to open
- about 3 minutes. as they start to open sp[rinkle agreesively with chopped parsley and corse grind black pepper. once they are full open, remove from heat ,drizzle with olive oil. and serve immediately
- a lot of crusty bread and good appreciative friends and few bottles of nicely chilled white wine
- ET VOILA....................cant be any simpler
