Meatloaf

- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef (ground shoulder roast is good) shopping list
- ¾ cup of bread crumbs (plain or seasoned) shopping list
- 1 egg with a splash of milk (beaten) shopping list
- 1 small onion (finely chopped) shopping list
- 1 small tomato (chopped) shopping list
- salt & black pepper to taste shopping list
- Wrap in bacon slices (optional) shopping list
- NOTE: other chopped vegetables can be added (celery, bell peppers) shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 4 Tblsp of ketchup shopping list
- 1 Tblsp of prepared Dijon mustard or yellow mustard shopping list
- 2 Tblsp of white or brown sugar shopping list
- 2 Tblsp of any favorite BBQ Sauce shopping list
How to make it
- (Preheat oven to 350°F.)
- Combine the meatloaf ingredients and place into a sprayed loaf-baking dish.
- For the sauce, Combine sauce ingredients and pour on top and sides of meatloaf.
- Bake for about 1 hour or a little more until done.
- NOTE- A second batch of sauce is good to serve with the meatloaf on the table.
