Cream Cheese Filling For Danish Recipe
This is the cream cheese filling I use for my Danish (also posted) I had a request so here it is. It makes a lot. But if you make the Danish dough you will use it up. Good Luck

Ingredients
  • Cream cheese 1 lb
  • Granulated sugar 8 oz
  • Salt 1/4 t
  • Vanilla extract 1 t
  • Flour 2 T
  • Egg Yolk 1
  • Lemon extract 1 t
  • Lemon zest 2 t

Directions
  1. Beat the room temperature cream cheese until light and fluffy. Stir in remaining ingredients.
