These Jolly Snowman faces are a joy for that snowy and chilly day. The Kids will enjoy making and eating these.This recipe is adapted from the Betty Crocker 2009 Calendar.

- Ingredients:
- 1 Pouch ( 1 LB 1.5-oz ) Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix
- ½ cup Margarine or butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 Container ( 12-oz ) Betty Crocker Whipped fluffy white frosting
- Red String licorice
- Assorted candies
Directions
- 1)Preheat oven to 375. In a medium bowl, stir cookie mix, Margarine and egg until soft dough forms. On un-greased cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded Tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart.
- 2)Bake 11 to 14 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
- 3)Frost and decorate 1 cookie at a time. After spreading frosting on cookie, add licorice for band of earmuffs and candies for ears “covers” and snowman face.

Kids always enjoy food more if it's fun to look at, and especially fun to make!
I know when I taught Literacy classes, I would always incorporate FUN into the lesson plans, because I found the material stayed with the students longer.
