Ribbon Nut Bread

- Bread: shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon zest shopping list
- 1 cup chopped nuts shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 8 oz Philadelphia Brand cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
How to make it
- Combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, and egg, mixing until well blended.
- Combine dry ingredients. Add combined oil, milk, eggs and zest to dry ingredients, until moistened.
- Fold in nuts.
- Spread 1 cup batter into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- top with cream cheese mixture and cover with remining batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
