ceviche

- 2 lbs fresh white fish files(berracuda and tuna are good also) shopping list
- 1 large bunch cilantro chopped shopping list
- 2 tomatos chopped shopping list
- 1 onion chopped(red or white) shopping list
- 2 carrots diced shopping list
- 2 to 3 jalapÑos chopped(if you dont like the heet of the peppers you can use green bellpeppers or california chilis) shopping list
- 15 to 20 limes shopping list
- 1 teaspoon Mexican oregano shopping list
- 2 tablespon sea salt or more to taste shopping list
- 1 pack tostadas or corn chips for serving shopping list
How to make it
- choppe the fish as small as you can
- place in large bowl squeeze lime juice over fish and mix
- add oregano and mix
- next add the remaining ingredients mix and let stand for 30 minuts
- serve on tostadas with chopped avocado and your favorite hot sauce
- (in mexico we also spread mayonnaise on the tostada before we put the ceviche on it:))
- you can also substitute shrimp for the fish and it is very good
