    Sandy, I can certainly appreciate that this site does not give members any place to post questions or non-recipe items. For that reason, we all have to use the 'recipe posting' pages in order to ask a public question. Nothing wrong with your asking a question that way.
    You might want to email people as well if you have any specific questions to ask. All members have a private message box. Just look on their personal page, and click 'message me'.
