How to make it

  • Pour oil into large baking dish, and tilt to coat. Place in oven and heat to 350 Degrees (F).
  • Meanwhile, drain and rinse chickpeas and place in food processor.
  • Chop onions and garlic slightly and add to food processor with chickpeas, and add parsley.
  • Process until smooth and doughy.
  • Transfer into bowl and stir in flour, cumin, and baking powder.
  • Shape into 16 balls and place in preheated pan.
  • Bake 10 minutes and turn each patty; continue baking another 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Serve as sandwiches in pita bread, or on lettuce.
  • Enjoy!
