How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Line 2 muffin tins with liners
  • Sift together flour and next 4 ingredients
  • In another mixing bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy
  • Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after adding each egg
  • Add pumpkin, beating on low until combined
  • Add flour mixture and milk alternately to sugar mixture, beginning and ending with flour until combined
  • Stir in nuts
  • Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full
  • Bake 25 minutes or so
  • Cool on baking rack
  • Frosting
  • In large mixing bowl, add all ingredients and beat until smooth
  • Spread icing onto top of cooled cupcakes
