Ingredients

How to make it

  • Stew chicken; reserve broth. Cool, then debone chicken into small pieces. Make your cornbread and while it is baking, chop onion and celery. Boil in chicken broth 20 minutes over medium high heat. Cool corn bread slightly then crumble into chicken broth with chopped vegetables. Add cereal, crackers and bread crumbs. Mix well (a potato masher does a good job for this). Add water as needed, mixture should be moist, taste it as you go. Spoon mixture into large baking dish or pan. Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes.
