Ingredients
  • 2-lbs of almond bark
  • 12-oz. bag of chocolate chips
  • 1 4-oz. bar of German chocolate
  • 2-lbs of nuts (can use peanuts, mixed, cashews, etc)

Directions
  1. Put everything in a crock pot. Set to low setting. Cover and do no open for 3 hrs. After 3 hrs open and stir all together. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper. They will harden in a few minutes.
  2. Makes approximately 200 peanut clusters and they are very, very good.
  3. can also add some dried cherries if you would like

I made this recipe and left it too long in the crock pot!!! It tasted a little burnt, but I still ate it and it was yummy! Will make it again, and not let it cook for so long...maybe an hour instead of 3 hours. I think my crock pot gets too hot, even on low.

Alterations


I can't find anything about keeping candy from sticking to crock pot
but i did find this

If you melt in a crock pot, make sure it doesn’t create “hot spots”, and keep the temperature set to low while you are working with the chocolate


I used very hot steaming water in crock pot when done cooking with candy, cake and sauces that are sticky
that loose up the sticky mess and i let it cool off, not get cold because it harden up again then scrub with soft pad
