How to make it

  • Heat maple syrup in top of double boiler. Carefully beat in egg yolks and salt. Cook gently 8-10 minutes until slightly thickened. Cool thoroughly.
  • Whip cream until stiff. Fold carefuly into maple syrup mixture. Spoon into serving glasses and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
  • Note: this can be frozed and served as ice cream.
