Shrimp And Cheese In Love Recipe
Delicious and delightfully easy to prepare (night before), a simple and satisfying brunch item. Might only serve 4 depending on appetites!

Ingredients
  • 8 slices bread (your choice), crusts removed
  • 1 cup Edam cheese, grated
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 lb shrimp meat (if shrimp are large, coarsely chop)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Directions
  1. Grease an 8"x8" baking dish. Place 4 slices of bread on bottom of dish.
  2. Combine cheese, onions and shrimp. Sprinkle half the cheese mixture on top of the bread. Repeat and cheese mixture layers.
  3. Beat eggs, lemon pepper, Dijon, milk and sour cream together in a medium size bowl. Pour over bread and cheese combination and refrigerate, covered, overnight.
  4. Next day bake in a 350F oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden in colour.
