Mile High Strawberry Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries

1 c. sugar

1/8 tsp. salt

2 egg whites

1 tbsp. lemon juice

1 tsp. vanilla

1 pkg. Dream Whip, prepared

1 baked 10" pie shell, I always use this and every year I think I should just put this in individual cups!!! But I use the chocolate graham cracker crust pie shell I do not bake up one.

Directions

Prepare Dream Whip and place in refrigerate.

Have strawberries partially defrosted.

Place berries, sugar, egg whites, lemon juice and salt in large mixing bowl.

Beat with electric mixer at medium speed for 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture holds its shape.

Add vanilla.

Fold in Dream Whip quickly.

Pile lightly in cooled baked pie shell.

Place in freezer immediately.

I serve frozen. It is so cold and crystal-ly!!!
