This is delicious with turkey or other poultry. It is alos good on muffins or scones. When poured into fancy jars,it makes a lovely hostess gift.

Ingredients
  • 1 c water
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 Tbs. white vinegar
  • 1/2 c raisins
  • 1/2 c walnuts
  • 2 Tbs brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • Dash of garlic powder
  • 2 c cranberries

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 30 mins. or till thick. Cool and refrigerate. Allow to stand overnight before serving. This will keep several weeks in refrigerator.

Cranberries + chutney = good food! On my holiday menu - for sure!


I am lovin' this one, I'm gonna make this and the stuffing for the Holidays!!! HIGH FIVE!!! I wonder do you ever put cranberries in your stuffing? I thought about it... I'm working on a 'Holiday stuffing,so we'll see how it goes, I'm gonna make before I post! Write more later:)
