How to make it

  • Drain the pineapple slices, remembering to reserve the 2 Tbsps to use in dressing.
  • In a medium bowl, break up the large chunks of tuna, then toss with the orange pieces, cucumber, and green onion; set aside.
  • Chop lettuce into bite-size pieces.
  • Spoon over tuna mixture and mix well.
  • .
  • For dressing, blend together the pineapple juice with the mayonnaise and lime juice.
  • Drizzle dressing over each salad portion and serve immediately Top each plate with 2 slices of pineapple and some walnuts.

    I don't usually like fruit in my tuna salad. But the two you added go great with Mayo. Like the cucumber instead of celery as well. Very good. \0
