- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1 cup molasses shopping list
- 2/3 cup oil ( Canola or grapeseed oil) shopping list
- 2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/4 cup warm water shopping list
- 2 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1 tsp cloves shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp ginger shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven 350*
- Beat eggs light and fluffy
- Beat in sugar and molasses
- beat in oil
- Mix soda with warm water and add to molasses mixture
- In a bowl combine flour and spices
- Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Add 1 cup boiling water
- Pour into a well greased angel food pan
- Batter is very soupy
- Bake at 350* 35-45 minutes
- Cool cake in pan 10 minutes before removing from pan
