SPICY PORK CHILI

- Ingredients: shopping list
- 1 pound ground pork shopping list
- 2 large onions, chopped shopping list
- 4 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 1 medium sweet red pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 2 cans ( 14 ½ -oz each ) diced tomatoes with liquid shopping list
- 1 can ( 16-oz ) kidney beans, rinsed and drained shopping list
- 1 can ( 6-oz ) tomato paste shopping list
- ¾ cup water shopping list
- 2 tsp. brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp. Dried oregano shopping list
- 1 tsp. chili powder shopping list
- ¼ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes shopping list
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper shopping list
- Dash hot pepper sauce shopping list
How to make it
- In a dutch oven, brown pork and onions until pork is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the garlic, peppers and celery; cook for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Yields: 8 servings ( 2 ½ quarts )
