Decadent Stuffed French Toast

A not so rich stuffed French toast
Ingredients
- 4 pieces of bread shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 3 TBS cream cheese at room temperature shopping list
- 1 tsp Floridian gourmet spiced sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup confectioners sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp Floridian gourmet orange extract shopping list
- 1 tsp canola oil shopping list
How to make it
- Mix 3 TBS cream cheese in a bowl with the spiced sugar set aside
- In a seperate bowl beat eggs with 1/2 tsp orange extract
- In a seperate bowl add 1/3 cup confectiones sugar, 1/2 tsp orange extract and 1 - 2TBS milk and whisk together set aside
- Place a non-stick skillet on medium heat and add 1 tsp canola oil
- Dredge bread in egg wash and coat evenly and fry until brown, then flip over and set aside on a plate.
- Add 1/2 of cream cheese mixture on one piece of French toast and place another piece on top of that ( like a grilled cheese sandwich) and place back in the pan ofr 1 minute per side
- Drizzle orange icing over the French toast and serve.
