How to make it

  • Pound out the chicken breast,
  • dredge in flour with salt and pepper.
  • Saute in pan until brown on both sides.
  • pour a little wine in to deglaze the pan
  • In a small sauce pan heat the cherry preserves and the balsamic vinegar along with the dried cherries
  • Add the cherry and balsamic sauce , to the pan with the chicken
  • cook until sauce slightly thickens and chicken is cooked through.
  • Sprinkle with slivered toasted almonds.
  • *Note- I doubled these two ingredients to make more sauce.
