Baked French Toast With Pecan Streusel

- 1 (16 oz loaf French bread,cut in 1/2" slices shopping list
- 8 large eggs shopping list
- 3 c half and half shopping list
- 3/4 c fimly packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
- 2-1/2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- pecan Streusel shopping list
- 1 c butter,softened shopping list
- 3/4 c firm packed brown sugar shopping list
- 2 Tbs flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 c chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Arrange bread slices in 9x13" baking dish.
- Combine eggs,and next 5 ingredients in a large bowl,whisking until well blended. Pour egg mixture over bread. Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350. Sprinkle pecan Streusel over bread slices. Bake 45 mins or till slightly puffed and golden. Serve with maple syrup.
- Pecan Streusel: Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl;stir in pecans.
