How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350. Put the chocolate in micro-safe bowl and melt at 50% power for 30 seconds at a time,stirring after each 30 seconds. Let cool. in a large bowl,beat eggs till foamy .Add oil and sugar and beat till frothy. blend in almond extract,baking powder,baking soda,salt and melted Gradually add flour and mix till smooth. Fold in dried cherries and mini chocolate chips.
  • shape dough into walnut size balls,making sure there is at least 1 cherry in each. Place 2" apart on greast or parchment lined baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 mins. do not over bake. While cookies cool,combine glaze ingredients in heavy-bottomed saucepan and heat on low,stirring often,until melted. Transfer cookies to a cooling rack and then drizzle with glaze.
