Buttered new potatos
From kellybelly27 14 years agoIngredients
- 8-12 cleaned quartered new/red potatos shopping list
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter shopping list
- paprika (use as much or as little as you like) shopping list
- sea salt shopping list
How to make it
- 1. In a good sized pot, put water and potatos on to boil. (I heat my water with my potatos to avoid splashing that results when you add the potatos)
- 2. After potatos are cooked through. Strain and leave in the collander to let as much water out as possibe.
- 3. After about 20 minutes, place back in the pot. Add butter and stir letting it coat your potatos.
- 4. Sprinkle with paprika and sea salt and stir up some more to mix the seasonings evenly.
- 5. Serve!

These are called salt potatoes up here in NY and they ARE the best potatoes! You will never see a BBQ without them. Always at the NYS fair too. They come in a small bag with a package of salt and can be found at most grocery stores. Nice post! I...more
