- 10tbs. softened; unsalted butter shopping list
- 2/3c. sugar shopping list
- 1tsp. vanilla extract or 1tbs. vanilla sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- Zest of 1/2 lemon shopping list
- 2c. all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2tsp. double acting baking powder or 1pk. German backpulver shopping list
- 1/4c. buttermilk shopping list
- 1 1/2lb. apricots, cut in half shopping list
How to make it
- Use an 11 inch Springform pan; buttered and floured, set aside.
- Cream the butter, sugar, vanilla or vanilla sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix in lemon zest.
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt. Beat into egg mixture. Add buttermilk mix well.
- Spread the batter into the baking pan. Place apricots on top, cut side down in a circular pattern, starting in middle with a single half.
- Serve with whip cream..... Enjoy.....
