Amazing Clam Bisque

- 10 oz.minced clams shopping list
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery shopping list
- 3 tbsp. unsalted butter,divided shopping list
- 2 tbsp. flour shopping list
- 1 cup cream or whole milk shopping list
- cam juice shopping list
- 1 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 1 cup mashed potatoes shopping list
- 1/4 tsp.fresh ground pepper shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp.grated raw carrot. shopping list
How to make it
- Drain clams;reserving the juice.
- Saute celery in butter for 5 minutes over low heat.
- Melt 2 tbsp. butter in top of a duble boiler;add flour,stir well.
- Add milk slowly.
- Stir constantly to keep smooth.
- Add clam juice and chicken broth.
- Add potatoes and seasonings.
- Cook 5 minutes.
- Add clams and celery.
- Cook 5 more minutes.
- Add parsley and the carrots.
- Stir and serve with crusty bread of your choice!
