How to make it

  • In the top of a double boiler melt the chocolate and mix in the milk. See Photo
  • Add the yolks of the eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, orange zest and brandy. Stir until blended and smooth. Set aside.
  • Beat the whites of the eggs until peaks form. Add a little sugar if desired.
  • Fill small bowls or glasses about 1/2 inch from the top with the chocolate mousse See Photo. Top with whipped cream and (optional) add berries.
  • Cool in refrigerator about 1/2 hour or longer.

    Oooohhh, Grand Marnier sounds great too. I don't think when this recipe was originally written that GM was readily available but now.....

    Just what the kid ordered for her Christmas dinner dessert....thanks....saves me time looking for a recipe. (I'm gonna sub Grand MArnier for the brandy, but all else the same) Yummy.
