Taste Tips: The Dash That Makes The Dish complied by Vera R. Fox. I haven't made this yet. The recipe calls for 1 can pineapple juice, I assume it's a large can because of the quantity of ice. No idea to what degree the egg whites should be beaten, but I would go to the soft peak stage. Read more I guessed the serving size. See less
Ingredients
- 4 egg yolks shopping list
- 4 egg whites, beaten shopping list
- 4 tbs sugar shopping list
- dash of nutmeg (to taste) shopping list
- 1 can pineapple juice shopping list
- 2 cups crushed ice shopping list
How to make it
- Beat yolks of 4 eggs and add 4 tbs sugar and a dash of nutmeg. Add 1 can pineapple juice, and 2 cups crushed ice. Fold in the beaten whites and shake well.
