Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a small to medium bowl add all ingediants except chicken and flour mix
  • blend until sugar is completly disolved
  • add chicken and let marinade for about 10 minutes
  • pour chicken through medium seive and drain well reserving all juices
  • toss flour and chicken in a ziplock bag and shake well
  • in a wok or 10" sautee pan, heat and add chicken spreading out evenly ,.sautee 2-3 min.
  • turn and sautee another 2-3 min. and add all juices from marinade lower heat and cntinue cooking till nice and thick or about 5 min.
  • hawaiins like over rice (I like over odon noodles)
  • serve immediatly or refridgerate and use latter for appetizer.holds very well in refridgerator

    let me know how you like it. huli huli means turn turn, so grilling sauteeing or turning over a spit works pineapple would definately work thank you for checking it out.

    crazycookinchick ate it and said...
    It's funny, our wedding was Hawaiian themed and I did A LOT of research. I kept hearing about Huli Huli Chicken but ran out of time to give it a whirl. I thought it had pineapple in it. I could certainly be wrong though.
    I look forward to giving this a whirl!! I have lots of chicken in the freezer we need to get through!
