Hershey Cake

If you are a chocolate lover, this is a cake for you. Having lived in Hershey, Pa at one time, this is a good recipe to share!

Cake:
Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add the flour, mix well with wooden spoon (do not use electric mixer). Add Hershey syrup and mix thoroughly. Bake at 350 degrees in a 9x12 greased & floured plan for 25-30 minutes, or until cake is done.
Frosting:
Boil first 3 ingredients for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and beat in four hershey bars until smooth. Spread on WARM cake. You can sprinkle with chopped nut if desired.
