Great with brunch, or as a swwet bread with the main course and lets not forget with your coffee in the morning or to take to work and share with fellow workers. Also great to wrap in colored saran wrap for gifts. Read more Always a favorite. See less

Ingredients

3 very ripe bananas shopping list
2 eggs shopping list
1/2 c. butter shopping list
1 1/2 T. sour cream shopping list
1 c. sugar shopping list
2 c. flour shopping list
1 1/2 t. baking powder shopping list
1/2 t. baking soda shopping list
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional) shopping list

How to make it

Put bananas,
eggs,
butter,
sour cream,
sugar into bowl and mix well
add
flour,
baking soda,
baking powder
add nuts
pour into greased 9.5 x 4.5 loaf pan
bake at 350 for 55- 60 min
Take out of pan and cool on side on wood cutting board or rack
Butter top while still warm
Slice, eat and enjoy!

sorry, and yes it is. You can also use a plain yogurt, or mayonnaise or applesauce. Cinnamon applesauce is great or just add the cinnamon. I already ate a half a loaf. OMG take it away! lol

Now you post this.... I made several banana breads over the holidays. I love the sour cream addition. Is that to make it moist?
