Creamy Pesto Shrimp Or Crab Recipe

Heavy cream + butter + Parmesan + pesto + shrimp = luxuriously yummy sauce! Try it with crab. Try it on different types of pasta. Eat it with a spoon straight out of the skillet!

Ingredients
- 1 lb linguine pasta (in picture I used Spaghetti Rigati)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 7-8 oz pesto
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined (or crab, or both)
Directions
- Cook pasta al dente.
- In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in cream.
- Season with pepper.
- Cook 6-8 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Stir in Parmesan into cream sauce, stirring until mixed.
- Blend in pesto.
- Cook 3-5 minutes, until thickened.
- Stir in shrimp, and cook until they turn pink. About 5 mins.
- Serve over hot linguine.
- Optional: add lemon juice or serve with lemon wedges.
