Beer Sausages

- 1-1/2 (12 oz) bottles ale shopping list
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. garlic, chopped shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. caraway seed shopping list
- 1 Cup water shopping list
- 4-6 smoked sausages shopping list
- German style mustard, optional shopping list
- sauerkraut, optional shopping list
How to make it
- Combine, ale, onion, garlic, caraway seed & water in a large saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce heat and place whole sausages in saucepan.
- Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- After simmering, sausages may be grilled for several minutes for nice flavor.
- Serve with German-style mustard & sauerkraut, if desired
