Cherry Buttercream Cheesecake

- Use vanilla cookie crust - see crust page shopping list
- 2 pounds Philly cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 4 Tbsp. flour shopping list
- 5 large eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1 ounce butter extract shopping list
- 1 ounce cherry extract shopping list
- red food coloring shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 475^.
- Blend cream cheese, sugar and flour until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Add cream, mixing thoroughly.
- Pour half of batter into another bowl.
- Add butter extract to one bowl.
- Add cherry extract and coloring to other bowl.
- Stir each bowl to incorporate completely.
- Pour cherry filling into prepared pan.
- Pour butter filling over cherry.
- Swirl with knife or spatula to give marbling effect.
- Bake at 475^ for 15 minutes.
- Reduce temp. to 250^ and continues baking for 1 hour.
- Let cool and refrigerate before serving.
- NOTE: You can substitute cherry flavor with raspberry, strawberry, black berry, blueberry, chocolate, whatever your heart desires. As long as you like it with butter.
