How to make it

  • Mix first 5 ingredients in a small bowl
  • Reserve 1/2 of the marinade
  • Place beef in a large reasealable plastic bag or glass dish
  • Add remaining marinade and turn to coat well
  • Refrigerate 15 minutes or longer for extra flavor
  • Heat oil in a large skillet on high heat
  • Remove beef from marinade and add to skillet; stir fry for 3 minutes or until beef is no longer pink
  • Remove beef from skillet
  • Add vegetables; stir fry 3-5 minutes or until tender crisp
  • Mix reserved marinade with honey and cornstarch until smooth
  • Stir into skillet
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly and boil 1 minute
  • Return beef to skillet, cook until heated through
  • Serve over hot cooked rice if desired
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving
  • TO TOAST SESAME SEEDS: Heat small skillet on medium and add sesame seeds; cook and stir 2 minutes or until golden brown

    I love my wok, but it walked away one day, rather puzzling.

    Thank-you - this sounds like a delicious dish, and I don't know when I'll get to try it as I have thousands on my list. I don't know why I want to spend thousands on greatchefs.com, but I do (my wish list).

    Every once in a while, you just have to have stir-fry. This looks like a good one to try. I can't tell you how many time I have burned sesame seeds; I will try to pay better attention this time. Thanks for the recipe.
