Beef Stroganoff And Rice Recipe

Ingredients

1-1 1/2 lbs ground beef

1-2 cups rice

1 package dry French onion soup mix

2 cups sour cream

Chopped mushrooms and onions (to taste)

Directions

Cook 1-2 cups of rice.

As beef is browning add chopped mushrooms and onions to taste.

After beef is browned add French onion soup mix and sour cream (mixture should lighten to a medium brown color).

Mix in rice.

Can you tell me how many ounces in the package of the Onion Soup mix? I live in the UK and we can get the dry soup but it comes in a box and you scoop out how much you want. Thanks so much!
