Crab and Scallops Salsa

- Tortillla chips, ( see note ) shopping list
- 1/2 lb bay scallops shopping list
- 1/2 lb lump crab meat shopping list
- 1/2 c fresh lime juice shopping list
- 1 t grated tangerine rind shopping list
- 2/3 c chopped tangerine (about 1 tangerine) shopping list
- 1/2 c peeled, seeded, and chopped tomato shopping list
- 2 T finely chopped purple onion (use more) shopping list
- 1 T chopped fresh cilantro shopping list
- 1 T minced fresh jalapeno shopping list
- 1/8 t salt shopping list
- Garnish fresh cilantro leaves (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- You can make your own tortilla chips by cutting a tortilla into 8 wedges;arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 350F for 10 minutes or until crisp.
- Let cool.
- Store in airtight container.
- Cook scallops and crab in a skillet over medium heat 3 minutes or until done.
- Drain.
- Cool and combine with rest of ingredients except the garnish.
- Chill.
- Serve with tortilla chips
