- 1/4c warm water shopping list
- 1pkg yeast shopping list
- 3/4c lukewarm milk shopping list
- 1/4c sugar shopping list
- 1tsp salt shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/4c soft shortening shopping list
- 3 1/2 - 4c flour shopping list
How to make it
- Dissolve yeast in water.
- Stir in: milk, sugar, salt, eggs, shortening, and half of flour.
- Mix until smooth.
- Add the rest of the flour an mix by hand.
- Knead on lightly board until smooth and blistered(5 mins).
- Place in greased bowl and cover.
- Let rise 1 1/2 - 2 hours or until doubled in bulk.
- Punch down and let rise again for 45 minutes.
- Divide into 12 - 14 balls 2" in diameter(2/3 dough).
- Place in well greased muffin cups.
- Form the rest of the dough into small balls, set firmly on th large ones.
- Let rise 30 minutes.
- Brush with glaze and bake for 20 - 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
