Pepperonata Sweet and Sour Peppers on Bruschetta

- 4 red bell peppers,seeded and small diced shopping list
- 3 Tbs EVOO shopping list
- 2 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 Tbs sugar shopping list
- 1/4 c red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 large garlic clove,peeled shopping list
- 1 loaf rustic crusty bread shopping list
How to make it
- Heat med. suzed saucepan over med. heat. Add oil,peppers and salt to pan. Allow to simmer with lid for 30 mins. ,stirring occasionally.
- Remove lid,turrn heat to high. Add sugar and vinegar and cook another 5 mins,stirring often. Remove the peppers from heat;set aside.
- Slice bread 1/2" thick and grill or toast. While the bread is still hot,gently rub the whole peeled garlic on 1 side. Top the same side with the pepperonataand it's juices and serve.
