How to make it

  • Cream the butter; with the sugar and salt until smooth and fluffy
  • Stir in the eggs and vanilla powder
  • Mix the flour with the dry pudding powder, baking powder
  • and stir in the milk.
  • Coarse chop the chocolate and the nuts
  • Peel the bananas and mash them.
  • Stir everything together, add the spices and rum and pour into a well greased (large) loaf pan.
  • Bake: about 70 - 80 min at 175C ° or until tested done
  • Cool 15 mins, remove from pan, cool completly
  • Wrap and store overnight for bet flavor and texture
