- 3 Cups flour shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon.. and again 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 3/4 Cup Crisco shopping list
- 1 Farm Fresh egg,beaten shopping list
- 3/4 Cup Fresh Cows milk shopping list
How to make it
- Combine the first 5 ingredients,mix well.
- Cut in Crisco,until the mixture looks like coarse meal.
- Combine the egg and milk,add to flour mixture,stir until moistened.
- Turn the dough onto a floured counter,knead about 10 time..do not over work.
- Roll dough to 1" thickness,cut with 2 1/2" Biscuit cutter.
- Place biscuits on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake in a 450 degree oven,for about 15 minutes(or)until a golden brown.
- Serve.. with Ham,Eggs,Fried Potatoes,Red Eye Gravy,and Field Hand Coffee.
