How to make it

  • Combine the first 5 ingredients,mix well.
  • Cut in Crisco,until the mixture looks like coarse meal.
  • Combine the egg and milk,add to flour mixture,stir until moistened.
  • Turn the dough onto a floured counter,knead about 10 time..do not over work.
  • Roll dough to 1" thickness,cut with 2 1/2" Biscuit cutter.
  • Place biscuits on ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake in a 450 degree oven,for about 15 minutes(or)until a golden brown.
  • Serve.. with Ham,Eggs,Fried Potatoes,Red Eye Gravy,and Field Hand Coffee.
