Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook garlic just slightly to flavor the oil; add chicken and brown. Remove chicken and place in a casserole or 9 x 13 pan. In remaining fat, cook the onion, green pepper, pimento, and tomato over medium-low heat for 10 minutes. To the onion mixture add chili powder and blend well. Add broth, raisens, cumin, nutmeg , cloves, cinnamon , salt, pepper, sugar and orange rind. Simmer covered 30 minutes. Add chocolate and stir until melted.
  • Spoon sauce over chicken and bake covered at 350* for 1 hour or until chicken is tender.

I'm not familiar with moles. In fact, I was going to say you left them out until I read dandelion's comment. This sounds really good. I'm going to make it.

I am familiar with mole, but it always had some kind of ground nuts it it. Peanuts, almonds, pine nuts or pumpkin seeds. Yours sounds delicious and I am definitely going to give it a try, but I wondered if the nuts were ommited by accident.
