  • For Your Devil's Food:
  • ~ Now..standing in your kitchen as your crooning into a spatula that ole' tune 'Devil or Angel' by Bobby Vee...Start~
  • Stir shortening just to soften.
  • Sift in dry ingredients.
  • Add 1/2 cup milk,mix until flour is damped.
  • Beat vigorously 2 minutes.
  • Add remaining milk,eggs,red food coloring,and melted chocolate.
  • Beat vigorously 2 minutes longer.
  • Bake in 2 paper-lined round pans,at 350 degree for about 35 minutes ,or,until done.
  • ~ Now this is the question you invariably need to ask yourself right before you spread that last bit of sweet smooth frosting on top...SHOULD YOU ...OR...SHOULD'NT YOU??
