Limeade Cookies

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Marcus Estate in Greenville, Texas in 1994.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter shopping list
- 1 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 3 cups sifted all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 6 ounce can frozen limeade concentrate shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugar then add eggs and beat until fluffy.
- Sift flour and soda then add alternately to creamed mixture with l/2 cup limeade.
- Drop dough from teaspoonfuls 2" apart onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake cookies at 400 degrees 8 minutes or until lightly browned around edges.
- Brush hot cookies lightly with remaining limeade concentrate.
- Sprinkle with sugar then remove to cooling racks.
