Fuzzy Naval Cake

This recipes comes from the Montgomery Estate. I purchased this collection in 1984 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Enjoy
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix shopping list
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 6 ounces instant vanilla pudding shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup peach schnapps divided shopping list
- 1 teaspoon orange extract shopping list
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons orange juice divided shopping list
- 1 cup powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Beat together cake mix, oil, pudding, eggs, 3/4 cup schnapps, 1/2 cup orange juice and extract.
- Pour into greased and floured bundt pan and bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
- Do not remove from pan.
- While cake is hot combine 1/4 cup schnapps, 2 tablespoons orange juice and powdered sugar.
- Poke holes in cake and pour wet mixture over top then cool in pan 2 hours.
- Turn out onto serving platter and serve.
