Sangria De Sydney
From elgourmand 14 years agoIngredients
- • 26 oz (about 750ml) decent dry red wine, chilled. shopping list
- • 8 oz (about 250ml) plane brandy) shopping list
- • 8 oz (250ml) orange juice, fresh is best. shopping list
- • 1 medium orange, cut into 1/8ths. shopping list
- • 1 large apple, cut into 1/8ths. (use 2 but I like apples). shopping list
- • 12 oz (350ml) ginger ale, chilled. shopping list
- • A good sized chunk of ice. A chunk does work best. shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Put all of the ingredients except the ice in a suitable container. Remember to have room for the ice.
- 2. Cover, put in a cool place and let stand for at least one hour, stirring occasionally.
- 3. Add the ice and stir until chilled.
- 4. Serve.
- I normally put two or three ice cubes in each glass when I serve this and I keep the container covered so it doesn’t get watered down. Enjoy.

It's kinda like Vegetable Soup. Every one is different. Like the apples, never did that before. Like you I've had Sangria with everything but the kitchen sink in them. I think maybe one even had the sink.
