How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • In medium bowl blend cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon and margarine until smooth.
  • Separate crescent rolls into 2 long rectangles then press into ungreased rectangular dish.
  • Crust should go up sides slightly then seal perforations and spread cheese mixture on top.
  • Pare and slice apples then place 4 rows on dough then cover with cheese mixture.
  • In small bowl blend flour, brown sugar, margarine and chopped nuts.
  • Sprinkle on top of apples then bake 30 minutes and cool slightly before serving.

    I'm confused, do you put the apples on top of the cream cheese or do you put the cheese on top of the apples?
