How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 475.
  • Melt butter in small pan.
  • Halve potatoes lengthwise then slice crosswise into thick slices.
  • Do not put potatoes in water after slicing.
  • Immediately line up in buttered rectangular baking pan with slices overlapping.
  • Pour melted butter over potatoes then season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake 20 minutes then from remove from oven and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • Bake an additional 7 minutes.
