Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl except the Vienna Sausage and Hard Boiled Eggs. Blend well either by hand or by wooden spoon.
  • Place about 2 large scoops of the meat mixture in an aluminum foil. Flatten it using a spoon.
  • Put in sliced vienna sausage and boiled egg alternately on the middle of the flattened meat mixture.
  • Roll the foil to form a cylinder, locking the sausage and egg in the middle of the meat mixture. Seal the edges of the foil.
  • You can make 9-10 cylinder depending on how long you wanted it.
  • Steam for 1 hour.
  • After steaming, set aside for a while to room temperature.
  • Refrigerate until turns a bit cold.
  • Slice and serve... You may dip them in Ketchup or Mayonnaise.

A friend of mine was given one of these rolls from a Filipino lady she works with & she raved about it, so I had to come & see if I could find a recipe here & try it for myself. Thanks so much for posting your recipe. It sounds soooo good. I can't wait to try it out.

Wish you'd post a blooper now and then so I wouldn't feel so inadequate. So, here we have another fab recipe from Mommylotte. Your usual 9.5 type stuff. What a great flavor combo. RJ
