Chipolte Shrimp Tacos

- 1 (12 oz) pkg. bacon cut in small pieces shopping list
- 1/2 onion,diced shopping list
- 2 Lbs large cooked shrimp,peeled and deveined,cut in half shopping list
- 3 chipolte peppers in adobo sauce,minced shopping list
- 12 corn tortillas shopping list
- 1 c chopped fresh cilantro shopping list
- 1 lime,juiced shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In large,deep skillet,fry the bacon over med-high heat until evenly brown. Drain the bacon fat. Add the onions to the pan with the bacon and cook 5 mins or till onions are translucent. Stir in the shrimp and chipolte chilies;cook 4 mins or till heated through.
- Heat tortillas on ungreased sheet over med-high heat for 10 to 15 seconds. Fill heated tortillas with shrimp mixture. Sprinkle with cilantro,lime juice and salt.
