Earth Friendly Play Dough

My Grand-Daughter and I made this the other day. It was great! We played for hours with it and she used it for weeks!
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour, not self rising shopping list
- 1/2 cup salt, we used sea salt shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, we used olive oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar shopping list
How to make it
- Mix in a saucepan over a low heat.
- It does not have to cook very long, so do not leave the stove area.
- Dough is ready when it rolls into a ball.
- Keep dough fresh in an air tight container.
- If you need to make different colors you can make this up in small batches and add the color per batch.
- What we did was make up four batches at once and left it white. Then when it was done we added the color and rolled it around until the color was even. true it took longer this way, but we had a lot of fun!
